For Years 1-6 there is a daily assembly of 20 minutes. On three days this is a whole school assembly but once a week there is a class assembly and a Phase group assembly. Where appropriate speakers and visitors will be invited to lead assemblies.
Each month there will be a focus in assembly on a ‘value’ such as kindness or respect, but sometimes assembly themes will reflect religious festivals, local events, seasons and calendar activities.
Our trust is composed of 10 schools situated in Hertfordshire, across St Albans, Welwyn Garden City and Hemel Hempstead. There are five primary and five secondary schools, with over 800 staff delivering high-quality education to 7500 young people from the ages 3 to 18. This is a huge privilege and one we take seriously, to achieve our central aim of Educational Excellence for All.
