OPAL

Welcome to our OPAL project!

Our OPAL project officially launched On 23rd April 2025 and we are extremely proud to have been awarded the Opal Platinum award in June 2026.

Alongside our playground redevelopment , OPAL provides the children with areas of  structured play. These areas have been thoughtfully planned for with our OPAL mentor and  currently include chalking, basketball skills, basketball matches, loose parts and climbing zone. OPAL encourages cooperation, social interaction, resilience, coordination, friendship, teamwork, creativity, problem solving, inclusion and imagination.

How you can help

We need your help!
OPAL project is looking for a few items if you have them! Pre-loved items, things you no longer want are perfect for this.

Things we always need….
Milk and food delivery crates
Large chalk
Wooden pallets

For phase 2 of our OPAL project we need….
Small world dinosaurs
Lego & Lego base plates
Pre loved board games
per loved puzzles
Sand toys
Plastic cups, jugs, sieves, water play toys
Pre loved props including hats, crowns, scarfs, glasses
Wooden play or mud kitchens
Plastic or metal spoons, small plastic shampoo bottles or potion bottles
Larges pieces of material

School is always open between 9am – 2:30pm if you have anything to drop off.
